I began running on a regular basis after realizing an increase in my blood sugar levels. I use Nike shoes and running equipment.. I used fitbit for some time and also Adidas running app on my iPhone.
With my new regime I feel very fresh right throughout the day. There is definetly an increase in concentration levels and stamina. I can now enjoy evenings with my kid and I am as attentive in my last meeting of the day as I was at the first.
I have participated in 2 Marathons and 3 half marathons. I used to run 5 km a day and then gradually started increasing.
It is important to have goals outside of work. These can help keep the levels of motivation high even when the chips are down in the office. Running also allows you to free your mind thereby allowing you to have another look at a problem from a different perspective. It is also a great stress buster and eventually helps you with a healtheir lifestyle so that you can deliver more at office and at home.
